Orgasm is the sudden release of accumulated sexual tension, resulting in rhythmic muscular contractions in the pelvic region that produces a strong sensation of pleasure and followed by rapid relaxation. It usually lasts for a few seconds. Orgasm partly also the psychological experience of pleasure and release, when the mind is focused only on personal experience sensations. Orgasm is sometimes called a climax or ejaculation.
In the original study of human sexual response cycle, orgasm is the third stage of the fourth stage, occurred after upgrading stage and prior to the completion phase. Model of sexual response cycle Another widely accepted that developed by Helen Singer Kaplan, MD, PhD. involves only 3 stages: arousal, pleasure and orgasm.
Orgasms vary from one person to another and even for each individual at different times. Sometimes orgasm is raging waves and amazing sensation, while others are lighter, smoother and not too strong. The difference in the intensity of orgasm can be due to physical factors, such as fatigue and length of time since last orgasm, as well as psychosocial factors, including mood, state of the relationship with the partner, activities, expectations, and feelings about the experience.
Some people experience facial muscle contractions unintentional, resulting in expression that looks like a grimace or an expression of discomfort or displeasure, but this is actually an indication of high sexual arousal. The results showed that the area of orgasm in women does not depend on the genital area alone but any area of the body can make a woman orgasm when stimulated with either.
The most distinctive physical characteristics of the orgasm is the sensation caused by the simultaneous rhythmic contractions of the muscles pubococcygeus. Along with the contraction of the anal sphincter (the muscle that constricts or stretch ring anal mouth), rectum and perineum, outer layer of the uterus and vagina 3rd (the orgasmic platform), closed clitoris clitoral hood, the area around the genitals red, labium minor change color to dark for women, and the vessels and the ejaculatory muscles around the penis for men, this constitutes an orgasm reflex. The first few contractions are intense and close together, occurring in approximately 0.8 seconds intervals. As orgasm continues, the contractions diminish in intensity and duration and occur at less frequent intervals.
If there are anatomical differences between male and female genitalia, orgasm in men and women are physiologically and psychologically, or subjective, very similar. In fact, studies have been conducted in which "experts" can not determine with certainty the sex of reading picture orgasms are all eliminated anatomic instructions.
The woman has explained that the sensation of orgasm begins with a feeling of tension, followed quickly by a pleasurable feeling that usually begins at the clitoris and spreads to the hip. Genitals are often described to be warm, like being shocked or amused, and physical sensations usually spread through several parts of the body. Most women also feel muscle contractions in the vagina or below their hips, often referred to as 'beats hip'.
Subjective feeling of orgasm in men has been described quite consistently as beginning with a sensation of warmth or deep pressure associated with 'ejaculatory inevitability', a stage where ejaculation can not be stopped. It was then perceived as pleasurable contractions sharp and strong, which involves muscle pubococcygeus, anal sphincter, rectum, perineum and genitals. Some men describe this part as pumping sensation. Finally, a warm flow of liquid or sensation 'shooting' describe the actual process flow of semen (seminal fluid) through the urethra (urinary tract in the genitals during ejaculation). It is important to note that orgasm and ejaculation is not an entity in the event that sama.Walau they usually occur together, a man can achieve orgasm without ejaculating
The main difference between female and male orgasmic phase is far more women than men who have the physical ability to achieve one or more additional orgasms in a short time without falling below the rate of increase sexual arousal. Experiencing multiple orgasms depends on the stimulation and sustained sexual interest. Because all of this does not happen every time for most women, orgasms do not occur in any sexual relationship. On the other hand, when the ejaculation, men enter a recovery phase called the refractory period (deflection / dissolution). During this time, orgasm or ejaculation further physically impossible. However, some men can learn to have an orgasm without ejaculating, thus making it possible to experience multiple orgasms.
There are four types of orgasms are identified, namely:
Clitoral orgasm. In the past, we did not know that women need clitoral stimulation to achieve orgasm. Now, stimuli on these organs are often used for women to reach orgasm.
Vaginal orgasm. This type involves an area called the G-spot and other sensitive parts inside the vagina. Orgasm is physically very different and can be felt more intensely dependent spouse's ability to play its role. But clearly, when you reach it, your energy instead of decreasing, even increased.
Multiple orgasms. When sexual intercourse lasts one round you get and tasted peaks pleasure (orgasm) several times like a string of pearls that line, it is called multiple orgasm.
Whole body orgasm. It is very rarely experienced by most women, but with the right training, women or even men can feel it.
